This non-invasive, gastrointestinal breath test can detect the overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine. This can highlight common and underlying gastrointestinal disorders. Bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine is often referred to as BOSI or SIBO. Small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) is a common gastrointestinal disorder that often underlies chronic gastrointestinal symptoms such as bloating, gas, diarrhea, irregularity and abdominal pain.
